Need a little help properly wiring jdm headlights (please read)

Okay so off the bat, my headlight wiring is all messed up and so forth. I just finished a JDM front end swap and had a friend help me with the build. I was getting something while he did the wiring.. Well anyways, the center fogs are always suppose to be on correct? Well mine are weird.

First thing is, turn the car on, no lights turn on.. Turn the parking lights on and just they come on. Then I turn the actual lights on, one fog light turns on and the daytime lights stay on as they are the high beam as well.. It has two different HID ballasts, and the HIDs itself are pretty dim. As for the fogs, the other doesn't come on, yet the bulb isnt blown, so I'm guessing its a wire issue..

All in all I'm asking if anyone here has a way to fix and properly wire these lights up. One of the reasons I fell in love with the jdm itr front ends was because of how sexy the fogs looked always on.. But doesn't seem to want to work .. Any help/tips would be great thanks :???:

So the fogs work with the parking lights? Then one goes out when all the lights are turned on?
they don't go on till I actually turn on the HIDs and only one goes on.. Strange, but its really getting under my skin

Use that diagram in the thread in honda tech and see where you have power going. Its wired wrong. We can't really fix it online because we have no idea whY your friend did.

I'm willing to bet there is wiring messed up somewhere.
Yea, something isn't right that's for sure, when I get home at 2 Il take a picture of each of the wiring. The fog light that is working, wasn't even plugged in, so I did that, but all in all still just gets under my skin

There are several threads for wiring them in on HT and other sites. Google that crap and see where you went wrong. It takes some time, but if you have everything wired correctly, then you might need to check the wiring inside the lights as well as the bulbs.

And so, I'm not coming off as a complete dickhead... here you go.

heres What I have so far, so after deciding to polish my headlights, it seemed right to use this time to check the wiring.. After doing so.. well youll see,
[/IMG] Here is the brown one which only has 2 prongs with a total of 4 instead of 6 total (as the other threads had shown)
[/IMG]

I have no idea what the heck this is... Has two separate prongs.. Unless its for the window washer reservoir..

Passenger side and drivers side setup

Next.. after i was done polishing and plugging everything back in.. noticed now the day time running light on the same side as the faulty fog wont turn on... geee great. :cussing: :smackself

Yes I know there might be other sites that have the wire chart and so forth, but it wont fix my exact problem when the thread is 5 years old
