my random doings to my DA

figured i'd start a new thread since my introduction thread wound up being more like a picture thread of things i've been doing.

well i decided i was tired of looking at my wiper arms with the paint chipping/pealing and since i have a good amount of matte black vinyl left i figured i'd wrap them vs paint. 15 minutes vs 2 hours to get the same end result. :)

sorry, but i dont have pictures yet, but i will go take some after i finish writing this.

my clutch/flywheel kit came in today.

F1 racing stage 3 6puck disc
f1 racing chromoly lightweight flywheel
new throwout bearing
new pilot bearing
clutch alignment tool

i am VERY pleased with the service i received and i'd HIGHLY recommend gripforce.com. 260$ shipped for the whole kit, and i had it in 8 days after ordering, and i ordered on a sunday and got it today (tuesday)

onto pictures:

i will be installing it sometime this week or weekend, not too sure yet. after i go take pictures of the wiper arms i'll write a review on gripforce and make a follow up about my likes/dislikes of the clutch once installed. and before anyone starts lecturing me about i should've went with "act, or exedy" i do NOT want to hear it, i did extensive research and the ONLY negative thing anyone said was the pedal was just as soft as stock and they were expecting stiffer. and that is SIMPLY an opinion- as what might be soft to me may feel stiff to someone else.

i personally dont like the feel of clutches that aren't 6 puck. i've done work on numerous 350whp 300zx's and LOVE the feel of a firm pedal and snappy grab.

i know it's a little overkill on a basically stock LS motor, but it's my personal preference. and it was 12$ more for stage 3 6puck vs stage 2 single disc. and i have no idea what my plans with my motor are- so i'd rather be a little prepared if i decide to boost
