are truhart coilovers worth buying? or yonaka? i need something that is a little budget friendly. maybe skunk 2 struts with lowering springs. not really looking for a track car. just a daily to do some spirited driving in.
don't cheap out suspension stuff, either stick to OEM or shell out for something nicer than truhart...

ok well im getting the oem struts but from my research im seeing that the h&r springs are really stiff for a daily driver. any suggestions or thoughts?

No fucks given.
H&R Race springs are the stiffer ones, the Sports are closer to factory ITR rates.

I intend on getting either oem replacement struts or skunk2 struts. Either way I want to lower my teg. Any opinions are wlecome. Best combo? oem and skunk lowering springs or skunk struts and springs?

if you put lowering springs on OEM struts, the struts will wear out faster than normal.

You'll want a solid strut to go with the lower springs, also you will need to look into camber kits to help correct the outcome of lowering your vehicle.

Coilovers are over rated and only good for track racing or if you want to adjust your ride height all the time and waste money on an alignment every time you do. I lowered my 1990 with tikico HP blues with tein S spring (2inch) all the way around and it doesn't make my car bounce all over the place and yes a camber kit for both front and back is needed to save the tires and better handling

ive ALWAYS ran shocks n struts for my cars and it wont change. Shock n springs do the job if done correctly

Pick up some Koni Yellows and whatever springs, assuming your daily driving your teg and its not a track car they are super comfortable on the street. The good thing about them too is that if you decide to track it more you can find some ground control coilover sleeves and thats one of the best setups for these cars. Yes better than coilovers some would say :O! Also if your lowering your car more than about an inch and a quarter you will have camber wear. The lower the car, the more the wear.
