just some pictures i took of my engine, and stuff :)


installed vtec oil galley plug for ls/vtec conversions






bare block after machine shop... i had to re-paint it, they chipped up all my paint, it looked horrible lol

fresh bore/hone, and looks like someones fingerprints?? lol



started attaching misc parts to the block, water pump, etc.

just went through and checked all my piston ring end gaps, looks like i'm need of a filer, damn lol.

and installed my new steering wheel quick release, my old eBay one was falling apart lol. the steering wheel came off twice on the freeway lol...

and wtf the machine shop still hasn't contacted me about my crankshaft that I gave them to polish and/or grind down. hopefully they call me soon, i gave it to them on monday... :(

soo, i accidentally broke a piston ring. :(

and still waiting for the machine shop to call me about my crank.

but I bought a hydro gsr tranny :) and someone wants to buy my grinding b16 tranny, so i can convert to hydro.

yeah i know, i've gotta buy another set of rings from CP, or I actually have a set of rings, but they're for 82mm pistons, i might try it out and just file it down to the correct gap clearances. idk yet.

and yeah, I was excited because I was afraid i was going to have to buy a LS trans for my build and didn't really want a LS lol. this guy hit me up, i guess he bought a b16 for his car and pulled off this gsr trans and needs to sell it cheap so he can buy some wheels. I got it for $200! hopefully it's legit gsr not a ls!

Haha yeah it'll be easy til you go to put in a half sized radiator then your like aww wtf. I might have skpped it, but not sure if you have one of those yet or not. I had 30hours in installing and tuning my b20 crx, it sucked lol. Nothing wanted to fit, had to cut stuff here and there, gah better you then me lol. should be a fun car when its all done though

lol, yeah i'm going to be running a 1/2 size radiator... idc i'm good at fabricating and making stuff work lol but yeah hopefully this thing will be pretty impressive...
