oh sry hueman, i lost track of this thread... it kinda died. the evo was a VII, the cobra was a prob around the '98 model range. it was a cobra tho, not a wannabe. loud as crap, and in good shape. the evo was bad, dude. ive been around a few evos, and ive heard their turbos with and without performance exhaust. this one's blowoff was waaaaay louder than almost any other ive ever heard. (only one louder was on this neon, but thats another story... ) the dude in the cobra had two absolute hotties in the car with him, and he pulls up to this stop light and gets in the center of three lanes to go straight thru the intersection. we are in the right lane, and we could have turned on red, but we waited for the "confrontation", hehe. the evo pulls up in the left lane, which is a left turn ONLY, and revs up. mind you, he has a salesman from the lot in there, it aint his evo. the salesman is laughing like crazy, he KNOWS there aint no way that cobra is gonna touch them. (the car lot specializes in high performance vehicles, and they have a lot of stangs, formulas, and vettes come thru.) the cobra revs up too, and the light turns green and the evo leaps out ahead of the stang and swerves into the cobras lane and proceeds to rape on him savagely. absolute visciousness. disgusting. nasty. he is gone. the cobra had a poor launch, and that evo put him AWAY. not only did he launch a little slowly, but he also peeled out, and the evo's 4WD really shone thru as it pulled away. great race.
i almost felt bad for the dude in the cobra. i mean, how does he explain THAT beating to the girls next to him.? :what:

anyone see the sport compact car issue where they spray painted a brand new STI Flat Black? lol it actually looked really cool.. or "tought" if i might add... aslo very niee car i love it...but i think i lean more towards the EVO's, i like how they look...heh sorry, but by all means that is one very nice car you have there!!!!
