I've only seen a few 2nd Gens in that colour ever. What are you thinking for suspension?

Well I've been speaking with mitch about my options vs price range, I don't want to cheap out, but I'm also not in the market for coilover pricing. I was thinking of going tein s tech springs with skunk2 sport shocks, or the skunk2 springs, but for a couple hundred more I can get a decent entry level coilover.


On another note, I went to the drag strip today (technically yesterday, whatever though) and didn't run the times I thought I would. Rather depressing, but it's motivation to get parts to lower those times. On a good note, I actually beat a boosted b16a2 civic running a t3/t4 turbo setup. Not sure how many lbs of boost but he was slow as fuck, and I also wasted our friendly local police/highway patrol. Those crown vics are running 18's, and the hemi chargers are running 16.9/17's. My 60' times are garbage, and that in turn is killing my 1/4mile times. I'll post my slips later with details on which vehicles I was going against, at least the ones I remember, I ran quite a few passes.

Alright, so my trans is now being stupid, won't go into 5th gear. I'm getting rather unhappy with the situation. Getting it looked at tomorrow.

Simple as building the b17 tranny sitting in my shop, or swapping another ls tranny in. I've got like 4 cable trannys laying around in perfect condition, I'm just lazy.

Update

I just had to replace the transmission, and figured I'd toss in a new clutch to start it off right, I'm very pleased to say that I finally got her to where I want her for now. Taking a break from the car for awhile to focus on work....so I can make that paper and get more goodies!!
