Alarms are a cunt to figure out IMO. I test drove DA with one once and it kinda deterred me, it was super super finicky.

At 332.7 miles on the break in, feels good to pack on miles right now, ironically, once it's broken in I'm going to bitch about putting on too many miles. Found out I need to replace my brake master cylinder and booster. Found out when my peddle hit the floor and I didn't stop.

Holy shit, what happened? Did you miss something putting it back together or did it something fail in it?

Alright. So, she is getting her first oil change tomorrow. Super excited. I'm going to drive her for the remaining amount of the first part of break in, then drop some vtec sauce on the onramp to the interstate. I'm so stoked.

Alright, plans for today:

First oil change
Install knock sensor
Wire in vtec
Fix my brakes and steering
Install oil pressure and temp gauges in a-pillar pod

Nothing over 3k for the first thousand miles, nothing over 4k for the second thousand miles except slight vtec sauce for three seconds or less once every 50-100 miles, basically 1000rpms for every 1000 miles after that with little first and second gear vtec sessions every 50 miles just to test the high end. But I won't stay in tec for more than 3 seconds til I put on 5000+ miles.
That's a little overkill on the break in bro. Don't womp it for the first thousand miles, after that have a blast. No need for all the rest of that. In the end though, it's your car so do it how you like.

BTW, looks good.

Thanks, I'm at 500 now, I'll probably start hitting vtec at 1000, but only once in awhile. I don't exactly feel like rebuilding it again if anything were to happen, so I'm just doing as my warranty says. If I do something stupid, it's my wallet that suffers, if I follow instructions, and something happens, it's his wallet that suffers. The longer it lasts, the happier I'll be.

Hopefully getting my alignment today, that should solve a few issues. If not, I'm going to be annoyed. Any bump I go over feels like a speed bump that's two feet tall, even pushes the car over sometimes. I have to swerve around potholes and manholes.

Getting the alignment done now at pep boys. The guy doing it looks like he has no idea what he's doing. Nervous as fuck. I'll kill him if anything is fucked up.
