My 96 DB7 SE thread

Well this past weekend I got to spend some time on my other integra, my 00 Coupe. My sedan has been getting all the love lately and I decided it deserved a little bit now. Did new rotors and pads all around on her and replaced the junk aftermarket UCA's that were on it for oem with brand new ball joints. The car was driving like it was on a dirt road and I was sick of it. The aftermarket UCA's were hitting the frame on every bump as well. After pulling the old ones out, the adjustment brackets that mount the the shock tower werent even tight! Between that and the cheap ball joints on the arms its no wonder the car steered like crap. Rides way better now.

These were not even tight.

Just a recap, I bought this integra for $1100 in December sitting like this:

Since December I have done the following:
REwired tail light harness, it was a mess. Dont know why.
Replaced the altezzas with oem 94-97, got them in mint shape for $30
Removed the Indiglo gauges
REmoved the blue acura emblems
installed a new IACV
had to buy a passenger front signal bracket and driver front bulb sockets (missing)
Rear wiper Delete
swapped out 17's for Fat Fives
New pads and rotors all around
OEM UCA's and new ball joints
ITR oem spoiler and ITR rep lip
Cleaned up the 2004 china halo headlights as best as I could and removed the halos from inside.

To be finished to my liking it needs tires, front lowering springs(has tanabe in rear but oem up front)
OEM headlights and a better ITR rep lip. So far im only in this car for $1700 and it KBB's for $4500 in worst condition.
Im pretty happy so far and my Girlfriend loves it so if she is happy I am! Still looking for a dash and front seats to complete my black interior swap on my sedan. Hopefully soon I can get those. Here is what the coupe looks like now.

Well I got tires put on the coupe two weeks ago, $150 for a brand new set of kuhmos in 195/50/15. Today I installed a set of H&R springs I picked up a week ago. Holy slammed man. Way lower than I wanted. Supposedly the specs were 1.75 front and 1.5 rear but this is low! Rubbing up front pretty bad so I'm gonna have to do some rolling and pull out fender liner I guess. But looks great!

Now my girls Teg is lower than mine!

Coming soon, more low for the four door!!!!!

I hit my tow hooks when I'm half that low!
Dang! I have 50 series tires on it and I'm eating the fender liners and the fender on tight turns. I have 55 series on my sedan and if I go lower than what Im at now I rub on bumps sometimes. Idk why it's so low and rubs so much. Gonna pull out liners and see about rolling front fenders.

The other asshole
The roads where you live must be a lot nicer than the one's here, I'm not all that low but I can't go lower, I dropped mine all the way and drove it once, Scraped my header and hit my tow hooks on the ground.

Yeah lol they are fairly decent with the occasional construction. I wanted to swap wheels and run the 50's on my sedan so I can go lower but I'm afraid the 55's will get ruined if I do that on the coupe! Haha. We will see after I pull the liners and if it helps. Thanks for the comments guys.

Need a yonaka exhaust for the coupe so I can ditch that own civic muffler. Before I got the car,a few years ago the PO had a body kit and dual exhaust. I never saw it but there are exhaust hangers on the driver side behind the muffler lol.
