Loving how well the car is coming along. I smacked myself in the face for not getting extended lower ball joints after my old ones stripped.

out the factory, your car is at factory spec, in this case, the suspension and ride height. so basically when you lower your car... the alignment of the axle is at an angle rather than sitting straight and giving the joints/bearings in the axles more of a workout. the extended balljoint will correct that. just look at the pic of the extended ball joint instead and image if it wasn't there and how it would of looked.

yup, the whole reason why i did it... the threads were damaged and 1 kept spinning, and since everything was sorta out, i did it all at once.

so, i decided to make a trip to LA again this weekend. got flaked on with the 1st sale... f***ing asshole. i called him @ 6am in the morning to confirm before making the drive that early (cause he had work). so yea, wasn't a total waste. i met up with the 2nd sale, picked up some flat black powder coated S2000 AP1 wheels. i was planning to source together a front setup all around.



then yesterday... a local posted up some 4x front AP1 wheels... and they were polished with center caps!!! sent him a text, and BAM! done deal. i make s*** happen s0n! lol



these will be my true daily setup. obviously will require spacers which i already got :) . so the black set is for sale if anyone is interested. i even have someone that wants to trade for the rear wheels with fronts,

so an update...

decided to install the short hub + quick release. super easy super simple. very basic and straight forward. although i've done this before... i'm always paranoid of the airbag bursting... lol. removed the cruise control in the bay... gotta remove it off the help to have gain access to the toque screw. unscrew this and that, unclip this and that... and bam quick removal. If you want to use your horn however... it will require teeny tiny amount of work. other than that, its cake... a short cut to death w/o an airbag :p

I used the metal clip off a pen, used some creativity and bend it. piece was perfect too since it had a slit in the middle for the screw.


i reused one of the threaded holes that mounted the SRS module. make sure it makes contact on the rear of the hub.

woulda went with a mugen cluster, but i decided to go digital :). not totally complete with the install. i didn't splice into the horn wire yet. also first time utilizing the horn so hopefully it works. :p
