thanks, been busy and lazy with updates... haven't really done much but pile myself in side projects. found a lot of good deals on the net lately that i couldn't pass up. i'll probably get some stuff started in a couple weeks.

dude...let a brother know when you run into these deals...there's nothing in FL.
really? cause i think FL should be a big importer / exporter. and the import scene has always been around.

btw. i was sorta thinking about making a EBAY's great finds thread or something similar ... but then folks might bid against each other :p

We have a "Steals and Deals" sub category on our local DSM site where people posts Ebay, Craigslist or steals from other forums that other people have come across that somebody may be interested in.

It's not a bad idea at all. I always look in there to see what pops up. Some things just can't be passed up

Updates

haven't really done much to the car cause i needed another hood, but recently i found a painted carbon fiber one locally for $80 bucks. the tips near the wind shield are chipped, but i plan on using some sorta mesh fiber glass to fix it, good idea?

but yea i ran into osme problems with the fitament. not because of the hood, but i think the firewall or the rain gutters are bent. there's so much pressure against the rain gutters when i close the hood... so i ended up going for the "MAD TIGHT JDM HOOD TILT" cause i didn't want the hood to get warped or even crack from the stress.

headed to home depo and picked up the hardware, ended up being like $3 more or less

the hood still needs some work... sanding and primering. its a whole lot better than the wavy one. its quality isn't top notch, its a pretty thin compared to the USDM stlye one i had. its pretty light so i might try and figure out and get some flush hood pins or something. it sorta ruins the daily driven look, but safely first.

i got some more updates but i'll add them later tonite. bouta head out

i'm back... gotta love the acoord lights and the volks :thumbs up

continuing with the updates, its mainly accessorizing, but i think they are nice :). i recently bought a set of S2000 pedals for $40 shipped on ebay. why? cause the aluminum pedal pads are identical to the JDM ITR/CTR pedal set. so why spend all that $$$ when you can get it at the fraction of the cost. btw i sold the pedal set back along with my razo's for bling :p. i also picked up a used set of rays valve stems, they're blue which wasn't my first choice but it was a good deal. is there a way to polish the anodize blue off? i plan on using them on my blades.

so onto the install, all you basically need is a drill + rivets. took about 25 mins to install.

after driving around with them... i like them a lot. they are way better than the shitty slippery razo pads i had. and with the rubber inserts i get a soft firm grip.
