so as you can see it's a GSR head I'll be running. Was going to go B16 but with the pistons i'll be running I decided differently. The head was decked, ported/polished, and i'll be running an OEM headgasket. Stage 1 crower cams and skunk 2 dual valvesprings and retainers have been installed. Stock cam gears (for now). Honing will happen on the block next week, then i'll be installing the last bits myself. Thats the part that will take awhile. Now that you know what I'm doing, what do you all think?

I'm drooling!!! I can't wait to start getting into the rebuild process. Right now I'm still straightening out small kinks. But she is still my dd :)

How much power are the crower 1 rated for?

Most of your posts are silver integras :rolf:

I don't plan on keeping my B18A1 completely stock. I'm looking into a set of rods, high comp pistons, and cams. Maybe even some sleeves so I can bore it over a little bit.

It would take a s*** ton of work for you to make a non vtec motor hit 200 whp. Boost it or go vtec for a bit less work.

thats what i said^
In other news, talked to Dave at Dave's tuning and he actually said the tuning done on s300 with 93 octane will probably net 230hp. Holy shit.

Horse s***. Im gonna look up crower 1's. Unless hes talkin crank.

Ill assume crower 1 is the stage 1 cam. Its similar to the ctr cam. You need much more aggressive setup to reach 230whp. He has to be talkin crank and that might still be mildly high for an estimate. With most companies you need a "stage 2"ish cam to break 200+ whp.
