swapped the ground on the head unit and that eliminated all the noise when the key is in II position. its perfectly clear now. but when i turn it to III i get some static. so lame

That's not a false floor, the stuff is mounted to a board that is laying on the floor of the hatch. If he did another board that laid over the amp and over the entire board he's already built to hide the install....that would be a false floor.
