hey guys i am wating to get a new motot in my car soon what do you guys think would be good for me i got a 1990 ls integra i was thinking the b16a what you thinks and anyone no a good place for parts?

yea the b16 is a good motor for that car a buddy of mine has a b16 and some supporting mods running all motor but looks and performance wise is quick or you can always go for a b18b or b18c1. your choice!

Why did you say "for looks go with a b18"?

Depending on how much you want to spend and how much power you want to make we can offer advice in what to put in your car. You can put in a b16a, b18b/1, b18c/1/5, H- series,k-series, each with different costs associated with them.

If you are looking for more bang for your buck, you may want to just do a performance rebuild and get a turbo kit.

i dont want to speend a lot but about 2000 or so but what would be the best as in not hard to do and i do want it to look good it is going to me a how car in time i want to repaint it the guy be for me painted it like 16 different clores lol but it looks ok i was onley thinking b16a b/c it will mount right up wount it ?

Have fun with that B16. Yeah you'll be making some more power, but also losing torque significantly. I'd say do a B18 swap of some sort. Even a B20? It really depends on what you want to do with the car. B16's are generally not worth it for tegs IMO.

There's one guy on here that has a stroked B16 in his DA which is pretty nice, but that's the exception.

If you're going turbo, you might as well boost your B18A1. If you lived in SoCal, I could've hooked you up.

To the OP, you better plan on getting a new tranny as well as the long block, the B16 will drive terribly with the DA trans on it.

You could get a B18B1 longblock and turbo that? Makes more sense to me than a B16 (lower compression, more displacement) and it'll be cheaper.

Damn 270k is a lot of miles. You should think about getting a master bushing kit for it as well; spruce it up a bit.
