so even if my b1 has over 100,000 miles i should still keep it and boost it??? also why go over the c1 or c5???
If it is healthy then the B1 is fine. Just do a compression test on it to make sure it can handle boost. For the price of buying a B18C5 and boosting it, that money would be much better spent on doing it to a B18C1. The higher compression of the C5 isn't any better for boost and the better cams and head aren't worth the extra cost or even close to necessary to make 250hp

yeah i think i am going to go with the b18c1 i can get the long block model for about 2700 to 3000 somewhere around there with about 30,000 miles on it

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! i#1 boost takes most of the fun out of vtec, and if ur gunna put a fkn B18C1 in there then you might as well go with a vtec head. plz research this fully bro. you can make the same amount of power with the proper tuning. hit up honda-tech for more info
