ok i am having a problem choosing which motor to use in a turbo setup???? I have a b18b1 with about 116,000 miles on it and i am thinking about doing a turbo setup and my friends say to keep it cause it has a longer stroke but i wanted to get a new b18c1. Not sure which to pick....i am planning to get around 250 hp and build the motor. If i do keep the b1 i would v-tec it but i am not totally sure on how to do that? Any info on which to choose would be great!!

First of all, it's VTEC, not v-tec. Don't listen to what other people say. Do what you want to do to your DC4.

well i just trying to know which choice would be better to achieve 250 hp without spending too much money and still being able to daily drive it. cause my motor has over 100,000 miles just wondering if i should scrap it?

You drive a Honda! 100,000 miles is just breakin it in! If you really want VTEC then just do a head from a B16 or a GSR... With boost you shouldn't have too much trouble reaching the 250 mark. And if you are trying to not spend too much then why do the swap??

My suggestion would be to keep the B18B1, build it, then boost it.

Id keep it cheap and get a B20 then boost that. Ive seen low mile B20's going for $500.
