I actually think they're Drag's... It's a "street" truck with the same off set as a G35/350Z so it's common to see Volks(reps), Rota's, Drag etc... wheels on these.

I personally want the TE37 reps in 19x8.5/19x10 in bronze after I lower it a bit... But this guy's aesthetic taste is questionable, I don't think bright red is a good contrast for exposed carbon fiber and the wheel choice isn't very good. But at least he supercharged his truck..

(mine will look just like this but I have newer 09+ headlights [titanium/gunmetal finish], probably recess the grill and i'm debating if i want to vinyl wrap the roof in gloss black)
:thumbs up Do it!!!!!!! I LOVEEEEE the brand new Tacoma fronts

Eventually, I'm still not sure on what suspension set up I want... With my driving habbit the XII performance drop would do me better (Composite rear leafs [Yea I know, leafs], QA1 Adjustable shocks, eibach front springs, thicker front and rear sway bars [lowers the truck 2" rear 1.5" front])... But then theres the DJM which uses blocks in the rear, QA1 adjustable shocks and new upper control arms with eibach stock height front coils [3" rear, 2.5" front... But I would have to notch the rear frame by about a inch])... The one pictured is DJM'd. But i'm hesitant on cutting up/welding the frame of the truck...

I'll probably be lowered in a few months (hopefully) and get wheels/tires the next time around (just spent $700 on tires a month ago)...

The new front ends grew on me. It took a while though, In certain angles it looks un proportionate because the front is boxy when the rest of the truck is quite round but looks great when they do the black headlight mod to them.

Yeah I understand being scared about notching, we were considering doing it on my buddies '81 rabbit. THAT would be sketchy lol.

But nice, so you're thinking the TE reps?

I haven't seen the black headlights on those, I'll have to look. In a huge fan of those though

People have been saying that it won't hurt anything but I can see it going badly if the guy that I would have do it doesn't really know what he's doing... Especially on a 81 rabbit, It's kinda old... And yea... Reps because I cant dump $2000 on wheels

Thanks, dude! It's come a long way since I was a n00b 8)
I didnt know you could go from noob to noob! :thumbs up shots

This looks silly. I dont like the execution of the look. For some reason the silver wheels look better but could be the angle with all that gap in combination with the ground effects.

Couple months ago i blacked out the headlights on my friends tacoma. Looked great against his black truck. Never took a picture of it though.

I think it would look better with some bigger wheels. The X-Runner is an awesome truck nonetheless.

The truck in that picture is half way in the driveway so it's doing some flexing...

I could do white

Some guy put on some custom made 20s on the "DJM" kit... 20x10 in the front and 20x12 rear

lmao not yet. I got busy installing the manifold, being lazy, then the trip. Maybe once the temperature starts cooling down. Did you ever have any problems with your idle after installing the ls throttle earlobe and itr throttle cable.

I only needed the itr throttle cable. The skunk2 tb i used already had the butterfly like the ls. I did notice that my idle is maybe 50-100 rpms higher than it was but thats still within normal spec given itr cams and ecu.

Maybe that's why I never noticed it! Haha! Looks good though! Gonna paint it eventually?
thanks! and not for a while, I don't see many that color around, plus the paint is still in pretty good shape. (minus the slight shade difference from front to back) why do you ask though? just curious.
