So i was taking apart the interior of the car to take off amp wires and i figured since im gonna be taking it to the shop and they are gonna be cutting a piece off, i should just take the whole interior out. It'll be esier on them and i dont have to worry about damaged/missing parts. I should mention where the car is gonna get fixed is pretty bad. The only reasson im doung it because they have a really good shop and seem pretty secure. is this a bad idea?! My dad told me not to take it off bc if anything happens they will have to pay for the car//parts

If you lift up the carpet, cardboard in your trunk, you will see a brace if it an ITR.
The dash could have been off of a GSR and its an RS like people mentioned.

Everything fits perfectly as a USDM type r though. Id say USDM type rs are harder to find than JDM.
I remember reading, that it was easier to find more ITRs than other models in japan back in the day.

Sorry. I read all of the posts.
I cant see anyone welding a roof on a GSR.

I think the 94-97 fenders are the same as the 98-01. Also, when you buy a new door, you're either going to need to shave the side moldings to match your old one or but an itr door.

They arent the same at all they mount differently if you get 98-01 fenders youll need a 98-01 front bumper and vice versa

Bought stanley side markers! Going out this weekend to pick upp the fender, possibly a OEM front bumper, & door. The car should be going in next weekend!

94-01 fenders are all the same only difference from 94-97 and 98-01 was bumper, headlights and signals. Good luck bro, Id buy that 00 ITR with the GSR stuff and swap all your parts over because you have almost everything but the motor to make it legit again. Save her please!

Feedback: Take off the fucking ITR stickers. If you ever pulled up to our meets, you would never be able to keep that a secret. Clean car, looks good; but those stickers got to go, man

its going to be taken off bc its going to get a paint job... Depending on how it looks ill put all 3 of them on

Disregard my last comment; car will be parted out, sold as is or traded. I decided to take my chances and save up for something else, dont know what exactly.

ok after meeting up and talking to Merlins Beard, ive decided to keep the car and get it fixed!

Thanks to Esco115 for the fenders! Got a great deal on them!


Car will get all the dents fixed, shaved trunk & front bumper, new paint job with a metallic finish, all the rust will be taken out and new metal will be put on.
