If you plan on buying new struts i would buy tokico blues while you're at it. My rears are stock and they are bouncy as hell! just my 2 cents though.

if i buy new struts should i change both front and rear, like is it mandatory to change both or can i just change the rears without any problems

When you do the rear's you have to move some things to the new ones. There is a little metal spacer piece. Thats really all you need to swap over.

Thats for the rears. The fronts are easy. Just swap the springs and re installed everything you took off.

After you figure out how to get the springs out, you can literally do it in like five minutes per spring. If I ever have to change the struts out it will take no time at all. I kept my OEM struts. I figure if they blow out i'll change them, I really don't expect them to though.
