Low Compression Results Should I Still Go Turbo ?

Shut up baby, I know it!
The car was pretty warm when it said 130 , I just ran my car came home started doing a compression test first one came out to 180 :D then I got the part of the compression tester stuck in my motor lol f*** , as for a tuner I already found one 250-300$ full dyno tune on crome orderd my p05 ecu today since I'm obd2
when your cranking the engine do you have the throttle plate wot? 3 basic steps to compression testing, engine must be warm, throttle plate must be wide open, and engine must be cranked for at least 10 seconds or until psi stabilizes on the gauge, pressure must hold steady.

When I got 130 all across I had a friend to the test for me I did the test today and I just unplugged the wires unplugged the injectors then hopped in the car stepped on the clutch and gas than cranked it for 10 seconds I went to go look at the gauge and it said 180 but I had just ran the car? When I got 130 the car was barely warm

$200 sounds ridiculous to me. I paid $15 for a flange and had the exhaust shop build the downpipe. Paid $500 for the whole setup. That's the downpipe, dumptube, flowmaster muffler and resonator, and all the 2.5" piping.

Well I already have a 2.5 catback with a 2.5 testpipe so I just want to get the downpipe made the price is pretty high but Im not sure if there's any good exausht shops around here

It's a piece of cake to make the pipe.. $200 is a complete ripoff. Buy a flange from eBay to fit your turbo, then just have them do it. It's seriously like two or three bends. My dump tube is possibly the biggest pain in the ass in the WORLD and my setup didn't' cos that much..

$200 isnt a rip off.

If you have a custom made downpipe tailored to your build, shops in my area charge upwards of $300.

id hop on a $200 stainless steel downpipe deal any day.

cost me 110 dollars just to have a flange welded to the end of my cat so i could bolt it up to my header, typical labor rate around here is about 90 dollars an hour, dealer prices range from between 110 to 135 dollars an hour in labor. Id say 200 bucks is pretty good.

I must have gotten lucky. $60/hour shop price. $10 a foot for piping.

Like I said.. it's really simple for a downpipe to be made. The only hard part of it was making my dumptube. My wastegate flange was on the power steering side of my manifold, so the dump tube had to wrap around between the manifold and the block to attach to the exhaust.

Try going to a normal muffler shop and not just some random speed shop. I feel that it's way overpriced, but I guess the other turbo guys around here got boned on their exhausts too, so it's all good. :p

Typically labor rates around here are $40/60 an hour for the average muffler shop.. :thumbs up

do what you like, I try not to settle when I dont have to, the downpipe I had made for my car was worth every penny. It hugged perfectly to the block giving me plenty of room for fan clearence.

Their work

And the other company that I had fab some piping up for me does quality work as well. Id never question or second guess any of their parts.

owners custom made manifold (made by him) for his 800hp s2000.

When it comes to boosting my car or anything else for that matter, I never settle for average, but thats just me.
