You get it installed yet?
NO not yet, i have no room. i have to fabricate a hanger out of sheet metal and hang it in the general location of a CAI. Not in front of the bumper but right next to the fans. ill take pics as soon as i have the time to fuck with it.

no, but they have more uses than to just keep your intercooler clean,
1.keeps the fuel octane consistant
2. keeps the build up of sludge and shit out out of your engine
3.better gas milage, due to cleaner burning of fuel and air.
yeah i know. i was just curious. i use the winder washer bottle on my car as reservior for an intercooler sprayer system. it keeps the intake temps way down. it gets hot as hell in south texas. you were just talking about taking it so i was just wondering

i really don't want to take it out, because then i have to find another place to keep my future plans for methanol injection. it really gets hot here too, and i can feel a power loss. still learning about it and what pieces i need for a kit.

about peices for a methanol injection kit?

jets, pressure switch that reads boost, high pressure lines, pump, you know that shit and a few other little things, and not to mention the mixture of methanol to water that will be good for my setup.

i had a friend that ran it on a 300zx TT. i don't remeber his mixture, but i bet i can find some of the details. his runs great

that would be very cool. i think i have to run 2-5% methanol and rest water. not 100% sure on the mixture tho. gonna need to do more digging and a little more math. i really don't want to run all h2o because i want the methanol to raise my fuel octane. i need it to keep engine temps down, clean out the sludge in my engine and run more timing. my goal is to run stock timing. 16 degrees before TDC.

he runs an Aquamist water injection system using the washer bottle as the reservoir and 125 PSI pump and twin .5mm jets. one for each cylinder bank. that stuff worked wonders on his ride

i would think your jet size would need to be a little bigger since each side of the engine on his is only 1.5L
i think the Aquamist system ranges from .4mm to 1mm jets. maybe like just one nice size one. something around a .7 to .8mm maybe......depending on how much you wanna run

something close to that, but i really don't want to run a lot, just in case i run out, or when o go around a turn and the water moves so i don't blow the engine. still have more research to do. but the nozzles usually work for the amount of power you are running, not the size of the engine. then gotta do the whole dyno tuning thing. and more math to figure out the size of the injector i need. might talk to jackson racing a see what they suggest. even though they are all morons.

i've seen it on some dsm's as well. they usually are running aroung .8mm on a 4g63 so somewhere around that or a little smaller is probably the answer to a JRSC b18 with the 4g63 being bigger and not very mild with the ones i've seen running it

i wouldn't tune to rely on it for the reasons you pointed out with the water sloshing around or running out and what not. just tune to take advantage of the detonation resistance but to where it will still be safe w/o it

WERD! thats the goal. looking into getting it all together in the next couple of months. around the same time as cam gears, so we only have to dyno tune 1 time. my goal is to have 200+ whp. on 7psi of boost.
