Actually I remember reading about that, The ones that were being taken/destroyed were R34's and "kit cars". Motorex was the only place that was able to legalize the car because they provided 4 Skylines (R33s) for the NHTSA to crash test for regular street use while they didn't do so for other generation Skylines....why does everyone want a car that will be crushed? The few in this country here "legally" are only here because motorex did the DOT testing etc. I think Kaizo's kit cars are being crushed, and i think a lot of the Motorex cars are being taken back because of what happened within that company. I dont see the registered skylines being around much longer.

Sort of back to topic... I still wouldn't pay $20K for basically a modified 240sx. Maybe not even if it was a GTR, I'd probably go the Evo/STI/Audi route if I wanted AWD.
EDIT: This one's a 93... Legal years are 96-98. No idea how they got this one legalized or how long til it gets seized
