For thos who don't know the specs on the my car vs the Corolla. We both run in the H-stock class. Which means you can only have very minimal upgrades.


Civic LX



Engine:
1.8 SOHC
7K redline
145 hp @ Flywheel

Transmission:
fuel saving 5 speed


Suspension:
Stock springs with SI Shocks

Tires:
205/40/16 Azenis Rt-615


Driver: Just graduated from Rookie Class






Corolla XRS



Engine:
1.8 DOHC
8k redline
180 @flywheel

Transmission:
close geared 6 six speed.


Suspension:
Stock springs with Custom Valved Koni Shocks

Tires:
225/55/16 Potenza Re-01R


Driver:
7 time National Champ
With the stickers/sponsors/trophies
to prove it.




Guys my car and i are out classed, i just do this for the seat time. Remember this isn't a drag race. We are only full throttle about 30 percent of the time during the whole coarse. Just to be within 1 sec of this guy already makes my day.


You really don't know how fast your are until you race a national champ.

The XRS is pretty sleeper if it's stock. Couple of my friends in Civics/Integras lost to them in straights because they didn't know it was an XRS. I have yet to race one. From what I hear, they have ok handling.
