lol i dont have the best times.. but i've read many different ways to do it.. honestly its something you do on ur own and find ur own best way.. alot of people slip the clutch but if ur anyone like me i dont have the money to replace it all the time.. you can dump the clutch hard.. but if u dont catch traction in ur 60 ft. then thats pointless, it depends on ur car also.. i'm sure i cant explain this that well hopefully someone else can..heh! (main point, go out and try different things)

i usually rev to about 4-4.5k and feather the clutch, making sure the rpms dont drop below that.

in my stock LS i get constant 15.83s w/ 2.3 60's (which really suck)

im getting a B20 done up right now so i should be looking for some quicker times soon

i hold the revs at 6k and slip the clutch... making sure not to let it dip below 5500rpm

when I was all motor I launched at 7500rpm in my car slipping the clutch.....with boost I am launching at about 5000 or so with the same technique

I ususally dump it at aroud 4500, if I go any higher I'll spin through first gear.

yeah, i did that too at first....

then i broke an axle dumping it at 4k. Been slipping the clutch since and my 60' times have improved.

so honstly..your going to repair something sooner or later, how ever you launch.. if you want to dump it.. go to auto zone and get their axles.. they aren't the best for a tuebo car something over 300 hp im sure, but they offer a life time warenty. and they are really easy to deal with.. but feathering the clutch is one of the best ways if ur trying to grab a nice 60ft. time.. it just takes some practice...

I know plenty of guys runnin very high HP on stock axles and them holding up....dumping the clutch is not the way you save axles. I have stock 92k mile axles in my car

Yeah I busted my axle at the track one night. I had the nicest launch I've had and broke an axle. It sucked.

oh of course OE honda axles will be better, thats no doubt, honda actually makes really nice axles. problem is if you break them they are alot of money to just keep breaking and honda doesnt offer a warenty, why not just go out and buy ones that are a little less good, but be able to replace them for free when ever you need to do so?..

can anybody tell me what rpm you would launch at if you had all 5 of the motor mount inserts installed (prothane & energy suspension) with some sticky street tires (bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdw's)???
