I read the entire thread about a week ago...
The kid used to detail the GT500 and the guys other cars, The owner of the GT500 and his son knew this guy... The thief broke into the F150 sitting out in the driveway and used the garage door opener in it to take the GT500 which the keys were in the garage.
The kid takes the GT500 with a few of his friends to joy ride in it and show up to I think the races (street racing), On the way to the races the friends are recording the ride and the deer incident. He shows up to the races telling everyone it's his dads car with several large dents on the quarter panel and door with the mirror busted... The kid then returns the GT500 with 200 more abused miles (it had something like 1700 miles on it) and puts the car cover back on it.
The owners son sees the video posted by one of the friends on the forum and that thread, Knows who did it while the kid then begins to start claiming to be like a son to the owner of the GT500 and so on... It gets proven just how much like a son he is by him getting arrested for grand theft.
