Paint stripped.[/QUOTE]
Nice...how'd you do that?
oh the slips are not urs? they look good tho the other rotas will to, and yeah i order my fogs and grill from ebay last night man how hard is it to color match the lip to the car? Thanks for the comments guys.
Hey Jason, what suspension are you riding on right now? If you're going to change ould you be willing to keep yours for me and I'll buy it later on?
I got my lip and grille on ebay. I painted them myself.
And if you're talking about my Rota Grids, I painted those myself too. It was a long process but totally worth it.
I'll be lowering it more once I get tire for my Rotas because these wheels aren't even mine so I wanna get some tires before I have to go back to those gay ass 18's.
yeah man i just order my grill so ill prob try to paint it myselfColor matching the paint isn't too hard. But I've painted so many parts with a can I'm just used to it.
Basically just get the Dupli Color Body Paint or whatever. The paint is called Silver Metallic.
I'd suggest:
- Cleaning the surface
- Scuff the surface
- 2 coats of primer
- Wet sand until primer is even
- 2 coats of primer again
- Spray with Dupli Color Silver Metallic 2 light to medium coats
- Wetsand until paint is even
- Spray again with the Dupli Color Silver Metallic. Light coats until everything is covered
- 1 coat of Dupli Color Body Clear Coat. Use more than 1 coat and it will turn yellow.
Note: Spray at a SWEEPING and CONSTANT speed motion. When spraying hold the nozzle and sweep through the grille or lip, and when spraying go all the way out on the edge.
Warning: Dupli Color spray paint is very runny.
Good Luck!
