Okay so I've been thinking about something...

Whenever I drive the EM2, it doesn't feel right. It's not the car for me. So, I was thinking, I'm gonna use the Civic for now and not do anything to it, just save money. And when my birthday and Christmas comes I'll get some money, and get another Integra or get a different Civic. This time I'm thinking of getting a 4 Door Gen 2 Integra, 2 Door Gen 2 Integra, 4 Door Gen 5 Civic, EG/EH Civic, EK Civic, or 4 Door Gen 6 Civic. Even if it is a shell because I'm gonna be keeping my motor from the Silver Teggy.

What do you guys think?

I don't know man, you listed alot of old cars, and honestly imo, unless you have a new car I don't suggest getting an old one as your daily driver. Having a new car is just so nice, there's so many less problems, I mean even after I get my motor built there is so much shit wrong with my teg that i'll need to fix. Old cars are noisy, everything squeaks, ac never works good, seals and bushings are always shot, I can go on. What i'm saying is that new cars require less maintenance which lets you focus more time into upgrading them rather than fixing all the broken shit on them. I like your civic but if you want something different I suggest getting something newer than what you listed.

You do make an excellent point BUT I can't get a newer car since I can't afford it still. If I want a newer car than the EM2, I'm gonna have to wait until AFTER college. Or unless you mean around the 98-00 cars. Then I'll just have to save up until next summer so I'd have plenty of money to spend but that is a good idea to just drive the EM2 until I save up for a rather newer car than the ones listed.

The thing that I can't stand about the EM2 is I don't feel that "I'm one with the car" kind of thing. It just feels like I'm driving it. It's not a "Driver's" car. You know what I mean?

I didn't mean newer than what you have just newer than what you listed. You got to remember your driving a civic, it wasn't a car designed to be a driving car it was meant to be more of a family car. If you want it to be a driving car you need to make it that way, that's the same with most of the cars we tune, even integras.

Very true, but the downgrade from Integra to Civic was extremely noticeable to me. It doesn't feel great. And if I want to make the EM2 a "Driver's" car, I'd have to put a K in it which I REALLY can't afford and on top of that there aren't many aftermarket parts that were made for this model Civic, well not as much as our Integras and older Civics.

My dad's not letting me since the car only has 249** miles

Oh fuck that, I don't blame him:lol: You could talk him into turboing it, turbo d's are pretty quick. If not then save up and get another G3.

I don't know Kev... If it was up to me, I'd keep the EM2. But if I had to pick from your list, I'd get an EG or EK hatch. I'd get those instead of the DA cuz they have a better chassis.

Haha yeah. I never really liked the boost idea on Honda's unless it was built. I never felt safe with it.

I don't know Matt, maybe it takes a little getting used to.

Lookin' at Impreza's lol. The older ones, like the 199*-2001 i think it is. 2.5RS. I'd really save up for that.

I feel the same way. IMO, if it's a Honda, NA is the way to go. Drive with the EM2 a little more and soon or later you'll find your answer. If you still feel uncomfortable, then you can decide to buy another car. I like that generation Impreza. Bunta style baby! They're pretty rare. Don't see too many on the streets today.

2.5RS is pretty cool. That is my favorite bodystyle Subaru. I'd kill for an STi 22B
Don't tell me that. Now i'm gonna sell my one of my nuts to get one shipped, registered, etc. lol

Yep, I think that is a good idea. I won't buy anything for the EM2 until I'm satisfied with the way it feels but if next summer, I still don't like the feel.. I'm buying a new car. Hopefully by then the bug eye Impreza GD's are a little cheaper. lol
