k&n void new car warranty??

My girlfriend just bought an 09 civic ex, and i bought her a k&n intake system. Does anyone know if k&n voids new car warranty's? It says right on their website that it does not void new car warranty's and if the dealership gives you any shit that k&n with deal with them themselves for you. I mean you if you have any problems you could always take the intake off before you take the car in to the dealer..... anyone had any issues or heard anything?

no it wont void anything you dont have to take it off or do anything when you go in for service either

They can only fault the intake, if the problem is actually related to the intake. So if there's a suspension problem, they can't void the warranty because the intake is aftermarket unless they can prove that the intake was the reason. but if you hydrolocked... then you'd want to swap back to OEM before visiting the dealer.
