Im really thinkin about getting one meself, only bc turbo's are to much maintance too me, I want power all the time, b/c I lke AutoX's, and I dont wanna lose my comptech header! We've got I think two members with the JRSC! They both love it!

Its not up to what we want, its your car... Would be a sweet add on. I've thought about doing for the same reason as obd1. Power all the time and easier to maintain

I've had two friends that have had a JRSC one on a 95 Integra gsr, and another on a 98 Civic Si. Both were pretty fast and really fun to drive, but depends on what your looking for! Superchargers max out at a certain point, if you want something that you can possibly make more power with later down the road go for a turbo setup.

This is what I would do if it were my car...

I would get gsr motor, throw a t3/t4 turbo preferebly an sc61 or similar turbo, with an inline pro mani, 38mm wastegate, and another intake mani, throw some 350cc injectors with a 255lb walbro fuel pump and tune the beast!

My buddy on a similar setup made 350whp on a STOCK gsr motor! plenty of power to have fun with anywhere! not to mention to run under 12's at the track!

But its your car, you know what you want, do whatever you really want to do. If you want turbo go turbo if you want sc go sc, it doesnt matter to us as long as your happy with it! GOOD LUCK!

yea that is a point my altima is a v6 so it pulls hard after supercharger lets off, but you can do a twin charge set up as well to run the supercharger up until it gasps out of air and run a really big turbo to spool up while the blower is pulling and when it dies out the turbo will kick in like a shot of nitrous!
anyways i saw a guy with a subaru with a supercharger and then twin turbos.

i definately wanna get one due to the fact that i have an auto, but if i had a stick i would probably go with a turbo.

Why do you say you want a S/C over a turbo just because you have an auto? Auto means no lift. which means the turbo stays spooled all the time on a WOT run. No loss of pressure when shifting. Its also easier to spool a turbo from a dead stop with an auto since its always under load. Free revving a 5 speed turbo car doesn't spool it very much from a dead stop unless you rev it high enough but will make more of a burnout than a "launch"
