This blows my mind.
Beautiful scenery and roads, mint Type-R, and well priced japanese sports cars.

I still love your red Z32, it's the cleanest one i've ever laid eyes on.

cheers dudes.

I've been a bit busy with work the last few months. No chance to go anywhere after summer ended. As long as it doesn't rain I'm hoping to check out Nikko Irohazaka this Wednesday since I got the day off.

Thank you sir. You've made my day. :)

I ummmm.... Wow! It's all been said before, but thanks for the ride. Those are some amazing pictures with some amazing culture. I had no idea of the beauty over there, makes me feel like I haven't experienced much of this earth considering I've never left the country... Or been west of the Mississippi...

been a while since i made another update, here's the latest travels

checked out a very nice piece of tarmac which locals told me about, if they closed it off it'll make the perfect hillclimb stage. majority of the distance it was only wide enough for 1 car.

most of my pics in my ROTY entry were taken here. i've omitted repeat photos, here are the photos of the road and extras i left out of ROTY.

lastly here's a few regular ones of when the sun is out.

next on the checkist is irohazaka in tochigi. the famous 1 way continuous hairpin road in Nikko.

the weather changed 4 times as i coverd a lot of ground to get here.

set off and driving through gunma it went from sunshine

to rain

to snow when crossing the mountain separating gunma and tochigi. i still had regular tyres and it was pretty slippery driving on the ice.

you're basically in the clouds up here

and it's sunshine again once you crossed the mountain boarder

some scenic stuff along the way

hit the road again and almost there. reached pic limit so see next post for the actual road.

ok we're here. this course is a lot wider than it appears in initial D :p you could easily fit 2 cars side by side here.

couldn't go very fast though, ridiculous traffic and all sorts of barriers now in place to prevent any spirited driving.

here's the famous places here overtaking happened in the anime. the tunnel is a lot steeper in real life

next the bridge you could supposedly get airborne, pffft not likely...

and the bridge where the AE86 overtook the EVO3. it's such a short bridge yet in the initial D they made it look like it was a mile long. it took 1 second to clear it.

and coming back up through the confusing 1 way system.

i thought great, you got 2 real lanes, overtaking ok, i can do another run down when i get up.

NOPE...hit a massive traffic jam, 2kms of a great uphill roads but backed up and crawled along at 2km/h for a whole hour, could have walked up faster.

heading home, stopped at the lake near by and then the open roads.
