i heard in san diego that when it gets foggy (it gets really foggy when it does) your supposed to have your hazards on if you dont have a rear fog so that people behind you wont hit you. thats why its called a 'rear fog'. a lot of audi's, jaguars and range rovers have em

my 88 volvo had one it comes in handy sometimes.
