So here's the debate going on in my head: Mugen hg or OEM hg?
The Mugen hg is $100 more than the OEM hg. +1 for OEM.
Mugen hg raises the static CR from 10.6:1 to 10.99:1. +1 for the Mugen.
OEM does not sacrifice any sort of streetability. I know going from 10.6 to 11 is not huge, but I'm also going to have the head milled 0.005". Ultimately, that would put my static CR at 10.88:1 with the OEM and 11.13:1 with the Mugen. IMO, +1 to OEM simply because I don't have Hondata to advance the spark timing a few degrees to compensate for the 11.13:1 CR.
Mugen would allow my engine to produce a few extra ponies whether the head is milled down or not. +1 to Mugen.
So far the tally is Mugen(2), OEM(2).
Anyone want to give any insight?
