Yeah, I've tried spray paint on MDF, and your right it just gets sucked into MDF and doesn't do much good. Kilz stays on the surface, it's cool stuff.

i also have mb quart comp 6.5" and made a custom spacer for them. you can buy spacers for them at any audio store

for the tweets i just filed the panel down to a circle, and im so sad, my soundstream amp running my 2 powerbass m10's just shit itself no more bass =[
