is this safe?

my car idles funny too. i did a vacuum test on it and got really good results so its not that. its my headgasket. when i start it up it goes to like 2,5 and then goes down to 1,5 in about 10 mins then after it warms up its either at 1 or sometimes drops to almost 0. it bugs me out but i know what my problem is. :cry:

is it cold? because sometimes when its colder than a witches t!t in a brass bra in alaska out here, my car idles at about 2k when i first start it up. after a few minutes of running thought it settles down. my mitz did that too.
but i think my car acts up sometimes. not when the engine is cold but say i shut it off just to run into a gas station. ill crank the engine, itll turn over 3-4times and then instead of making the normal starting noise...VROOM...it just fires and settles at like 800 or whatever normal idle is. is there a problem? i cant really explain whats goin on but maybe someone knows
