Is intake whistling normal?

unbolt your intake from your throttle body, pull the hose further on the intake tube, re-install. that should help.

i had to take the intake off my car once and when i put it back on, my car whistled, i think it was due to the positioning of the rubber hose

I was refering the sucton of the turbo on my GSX.

You'll learn to love it. Mine whistled a lot louder when I added a skunk2 throttle body and intake manifold.

If you don't like the whistling that much, get a Comptech Icebox. They don't whistle.

Hehehe, Wish I could hear my Turbo more. But Mitsu bung-holes put the damn MAP before the turbo . That and I only have a 1G BOV so thats quiet too. Might trade my Thurmal this weekend for a stock + $300 . Should let me hear that turbo better
