Is intake whistling normal?

Ok guys.. need help... Just installed my AEM CAI... feels great, especially at higher rpm's... the one thing that bothers me is the excessive whistling. It whistles in every gear when the pedal is slightly pushed. Is this normal?

yeah, do this..... as soon as you turn off the car press the gas one more time, makes this kewl noise!

CAI = Cold Air Intake DB8, lol.

anywho though... its normal. ive got an SRI and i cant hear it all the time over my exhaust but i can def hear it at times even over my exhaust. im sure youll learn to love it lol :thumbs up

lol... i guess.. just sounds weird.. makes it sound like my brakes are bad or something.. its very loud outside the car.

Just get a loud ass exhaust ill make the intake noise go away 8)

Integra's with intakes just whistle.....that's all there is to it. Mine whistled quite loud to at mid rpm while at part throttle

my hks filter does it too on my SRI

If you don't like the whistling that much, get a Comptech Icebox. They don't whistle.

i can hear my SRI only whistling at about 3,000 RPM after that it goes away.

i like when mine whistles it sounds cool dont swet it its normal.
