Intercooler question

Can i put an Intercooler on my LS without havin turbo? would i lose power with that?

to answer your question... yeah it could work, and by work i mean you could hook it up, but it would do nothing...
a intercooler is made to take the exhaust of a car (1100 degrees) and turn it into cool intake air, it would have absolutely no effect with out a turbo setup.
plus you would look like a giant douche ass hat if you had a intercooler with no turbo...

EDIT: i should get one of those and run it in front of my intercooler LOL

The only thing an intercooler will do if you install it on your LS is cause a blockage in the flow of air. That and make you look like a tool. Don't do it.

An intercooler is used to cool the air the turbocharger compresses (compressing air increases its temperature). Its using air at outside temperature to cool it down. Using an intercooler on a naturally aspirated car will do nothing, as the air it pulls in is already at that temperature.
