You said it, misplacedcivic. I'll build on what you said.
94tegT3turbo is locked in the "Lego building" mentality of modding cars. In his world...
Intake = 10-15 HP
Header = 15-20
High flow cat = 5-10
Exhaust = 10-15
Please correct me if I'm wrong on the numbers, because I don't live i your world.
Sooooo, of course, put all these parts onto your car and your at approximatley 50 HP, right? He's been had by the advertisers into believing their ads, they did their job well. From an I/H/C/E on my GSR, I was at 230 HP. Wow, I never would have guessed. But now, I've add cams, good for another 20-30. So now I can hang with boosted Integras with my 255 HP NA beast. This world is great, all laws of physics are out the window, not to mention common sense, who needs that? The advertisers told me this is what my car is producing, so it must be true. And best of all, my butt dyno creates more power than an actual dyno, and its free! I'm never leaving. La La La La Laaaaa La La La La Laaaaaa.....
OK, back to reality, not as fun as 94tegT3turbo's world, but notheless we're stuck here. Dude, if you want to believe your intake gave you +15 HP, you go right ahead. But please, don't infect these boards with your condition. We need our fellow Integra drivers to stay here with us and learn how these aforementioned parts affect an engines output, how they interact with one another and work TOGETHER as a SYSTEM to make power.
Wait for it....wait for it..................BURN!!! Dude straight up owned you 94Teg. Ok, check this quote out that my World History teacher told me in HS.

" YOU DON'T CONTROL PEOPLE BY WHAT THEY KNOW, YOU CONTROL THEM BY WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW "

You're being controlled dude cuz you don't know the truth behind the product.. All you know is what they are telling you. How do you know that what they are telling you is the truth? Dude, I was you age once too, granted it was 3 years ago, but I've come a long, LONG way in those 3 years. Remember this, YOU MUST EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN EDUCATE OTHERS.

Hey guys I don't want to sound dumb but on the different model integras dont they have like substantial wieght differences.Like the Type R is like 150 pounds lighter or something I thought I read that somewhere maybe I am wrong but I thought that was partly due to not having a sun/moon roof on the car. If any one can post the specs please do I am curious now.

I found these at the Acura website. If anyone else wants to check it out you have to go to certified pre owned then to model library and then to integra.But there was nothing on the wieght or anything for the typeR' s.

That was actually a pretty good question. Thats cool that you answered your own question bro, and most importantly, informed us at the same time.

Are you retarded?!? Just an intake and headers would get you over 25 hp. You obviously need to find that dyno cuz you're car is around 215-225 hp, not 195. LOL
sorry my burnage is late fellas, but i have to defend my honor. actually, i think the only person who would rather i shut up is 94tegturbo... :lol:

bro, lemme tell you bout a little article i saw in a spocom mag. they were bolting on cai/h/cbe onto a 1995 GSR. they dyno'd the car before they started bolting things on. you wanna know how much hp that GSR was putting out? 156hp. the car had 112,000 miles on it. mileage and age rob your car of power. so i truly doubt that my car is even at 195. i would guess somewhere around the 165-170 mark, really.

even the bolt-ons wouldnt have as much of an effect on an older car. like tegsox said, the engine and parts have to work together, and the parts have to complement each other.

truly 94teg, WHO is retarded? i know im not, and i dont think you are -- but ill tell you what i think... i think you are fiercely gullible. and stupid. :roll:

um 94eg whatever your name is i'm pretty sure to make a GSR the equivalent to a Type R under the hood youd have to put a new head, intake manifold (you were partially right), and up the compression if im not mistaken. any of you teg veterans can correct me its fine. which i find odd because there is only a 27hp difference to the flywheel and you would think a new head cams and compression would change that but i dunno how aggressive the type R cams are...
