I don't know if a B18a head has the same IM bolt pattern as a GSR or an ITR (I doubt it matches either one), but I can tell you that the IM bolt pattern for the GSR and the ITR are different. So it will only fit on one or the other, if it'll go on either at all.

it will fit with some modification but, the channels for the coolant are different between all 3 setups. you can get it work but you might as well just get it for the set up you plan on running in the future to save you money and time in the long run.

B16 and B17 cylinder heads are the same casting... PR3. so yes same IM.

Im just going to throw this one out there. Is your motor stock? I dont see any point in an IM unless you have upgraded the motor.

So in other words....it won't fit.

Even though I wear a size 10.5 shoe, I can get a size 5 to fit WITH SOME MODIFICATION.

a rebuilt motor that consists of what? just stock parts...

im not sure what an intake manifold really has to do with looks unless you're getting a carbon fiber AIR manifold..

I know resurrecting old dead threads is frowned upon but my tons of searching led me here and I have a simple question

Thanks to an idiot friend im in need of a new manifold and have been offered a gsr(b18c) intake manifold for free to replace the manifold on my b18a1. So far from research its come up that minor modifications would be needed to get it to fit. Is anybody able to tell me how much/what is needed?

Not really wanting to buy another manifold (so so broke)

I've never even heard of it being done. The GSR mani is a reverse ramhorn 2-stage manifold and I don't even know if it will bolt up. Sell it on Craigslist and buy a B18a1 mani from CL as well. It will save you lots of headaches in the long run.

I had already tried sourcing a b18a1 mani locally but couldnt find squat :(. Ill see if I can sell off the gsr mani.

And I just got the car drivable.. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

The b18 GSR manifold will fit a b18a1/b18b/b20 but you have to mod it, if you check on g2ic or honda tech you can find some stuff about it. some people have done it, not to sure on the gains, but if it's a b18a just source a b18b manifold , you have to do some stuff to it to get it to run right but it's a direct bolt on.
