Installing Stereo Head Unit

that deck is ONLY for ipods so you cant use the radio nor CD's aslong as u dont mind that then it should def work for yaWhat do you guys think of this unit? What should I be looking for in terms of RMS output and all that crap?

I like that this unit has two lines of text. The easier it is to use my iPhone, the better

Just thought of something...
I like to keep my interior lights way dimmed down at night. Will some of these adjust the display to match my dimming of the interior lights? Or at least dim it to a preset amount when I turn my headlights on? That'd be amazing!
dimming is only on some decks, not sure if any of the ones mentioned in the thread have that feature

Called Crutchfield. They said that the 2000 Integras don't support dimming. And while a CD player would be nice... I want a good interface for the iPhone. Most the others in my price range only have one line of text while this has the nice display and good reviews.

I meant auto-dimming with the lights. Like, if you adjust the intensity knob it won't automatically do it. You can manually dim it on the unit.Mine has dimming. 2000 gsr. They crazy

Have you tried looking at kenwood stereos? I have the kdc-hd545u and love it.

i got my head unit for 100 dollars from crutch field it dims at night has cd aux and usb plus it has 30 color combos lol did it myself in 30 minutes.Mine has dimming. 2000 gsr. They crazy

I ordered the Sony one. It looks like it has the best interface for my iPhone.
And the guy at Crutchfield told me that the 2000 Acura Integra GS does NOT support automatic dimming. That it must be manually done on the head unit. That it does not matter what head unit you use, it will not work. Maybe I was misquoted... But that's what I was told. This head unit says it supports automatic dimming. Hopefully it will. I'll let you guys know how the install goes. Thanks for all the help!
