its actually better to have the exahust on that side as far as flow goes. Some engineer at honda was smoking crack when he designed the axle back portion of the exhaust on 88-91 civics and 90-93 tegs. In order to have it come out the "correct" side it has to make 2 90 degree bends.

What a lot of people do is they cut the bumper on the right side exactly the same diameter as the hole on the left where its supposed to be, then use the piece they cut out and glue / bondo / whatever it into the other side.

Heres pictures of my old 91 civic 4 door to show you guys the bends im talking about.





laugh all you want i still miss that car it was my first honda ever i loved it. Sohc zc swap, sri, high flow cat, pipe .... did the 1/4 at the necksnapping speed of 16.92 @ 83.2 mph

and i had a 1988 honda accord that had that same exhaust but it came out on the right, and it was sexy as hell
