Idling Problem

So glad I found this thread! I have an 88 LS and the same EXACT thing happens to mine. It'll sit at 2000 when i turn it on and go down to 500-800. I also noticed that it doesnt pick up until it hits 3000 but im shifting at that point. Thanks for the post, info and help guys!!

i have this same problem with a new pcv valve and clean eacv valve. Idles normal until engine gets up to temp then starts to idle irregularly. no idea what is wrong fuel injectors are pretty clean as well..

oh and also once up to temp and starts irregular idle if i disconnect the eacv then it resumes idling regularly..
