i have pretty much everything to my turbo kit...now on the fuel and the management side im getting lost...im probably gonna get an afc for it and just run a bigger pump and injectors and a fpr....would this be sufficient for 10-12 psi on my stock internals?

ok so i have my manifold, turbo, downpipe, intercooler and the piping...i just have no idea what to do for the fuel end...i wanna run 10 psi. what'd be a good size of injector to go with? i was thinkin 370's and a 255 pump with a FPR and a fuel rail and something for the management, i was thinking a vortec FMU but i havent really found anyone using them so? suggestions and help?..
What motor are you planning on turboing? 10lbs is too much for a stock gsr and is pushin it with a stock ls. If you built the motor already then that's good. I would run hondata with a 255 pump and at least 550 cc injectors. I would get an adjustable fpr instead of an fmu. Fpr's that are adjustable make it much easier to tune the car rather than having an fmu pump out 12:1 psi fuel pressure all the time.

its a b18b1...nothing is built...i figure plenty or air/fuel and it should be fine, lol, i was leaning towards the fpr as well because i can just crank the fuel up a bit and use the bigger injectors and fuel pump.....im fairly new to the boosted side..

You will still need something to fine tune your a/f ratio's and timing with and to compensate for the bigger pump and injectors. Hondata and wideband o2 feedback is the best way to go

i kno a guy localy... dc2gs-r i think i know him too, running a boosted gs-r tuned by st00pid, stock internals i think around 15psi? made very good numbers 450+wp i cant remember...

so jsut get a good tune...you can run from 10-15psi no problem...and again with the fuel pump...depending how much duty ur using on u might now even need to get it.

If you upgrade your injectors and your fuel pump, the best thing would be to get a good management unit, there is hondata but there are also some that you can download for free and tweak yourself, or get the car dyno'ed and make the adjustments. The FMU doesnt really give room to adjust

s300 is like 600 bucks though...lol...im trying to do this on a budget...so i was thinking a missing link, injectors, pump, and a fuel pressure reg? it seems pretty simple, more fuel and i can manually control it and it seems like it'd be cheeper too..

definatly, you just lose tuneability

well, screw it than, there arent any good dynos around here anyways...lotsa air and lotsa fuel and ill be good to go as long as i can keep the boost at 10psi haha...i dont wanna go uberfast right now..... ive got 2 other b1's i wanna build one of them up and then swap it in, by then i outta have something to tune it and ill just take it somewhere else to have it tuned

Good luck with the boost

you are seriously going about this the wrong way...no offense but do it right and get something to tune it with or don't do it at all. 10 lbs is pushin it for a stock ls motor the way it is and you don't even wanna fine tune it??? Go ahead and do it the way you want but it is the WRONG way and you will not be happy in the end. You gotta pay to play. Anyone else on here that knows about boosting a car correctly will agree with me that you NEED something to fine tune everything. You can't just dump a bunch of fuel in your system and be "all good." You need to do a lot more research bud.

sarcasm isn't gonna keep your engine from blowing up either...do it how you wish but you will soon find out that shortcuts can't be taken if you want your engine to last. Good luck.

wow somone is a little unhappy, time and time agian they have proven that a any b series motor can handle 14 psi with a good tune! now with a afc you might be pushin it i would say 10 ps max...but you are risking pre det at mid rpms at full boost. ITS ALL IN THE TUNE PERIOD and a afc is very very limited
