lol i actually rented my text book $65 and also bought a book that didn't have a binding which i will never do again... pages start ripping off the binder if you are not helpful.

I'm a neat freak so hopefully I won't have that problem

just dropped 90 for a sociology book when I could have put it towards my exhaust

you think 90 is bad i paid 200 for a network security book and 190 something for a web book...

one of the professors told me that when his daughter was in college she would go to the libary and make copies of the chapters they were going to go thru and she would never buy books

I wish I could do that. But a lot of my books at custom editions for my school so the only way to get em is buy em. And film production? You shouldnt need books for that at all lol

There are text books for everything. You don't want to be that kid in class with no access to information.

Be thankful its just 90. My gf's accounting books are in the $200-300 range...s***s absurd. They want people to get places and become successful, and expect people to pay tuition and get ripped off for books. Like money grows on trees for everybody....lol.

I love it when the teacher/department is the one that wrote the book, and requires it. That way you cant find it on the net for less. Awesome stuff.

That is wonderful. Then, every year they change it around slightly, label it a new edition and force it as a requirement. That way they aren't worth shat on the used market and have to be bought new.
