the cable in the firewall wall?
all you have to do is turn the plastic piece in the firewall and it should pop out

kinda bumping an old thread but...

i think he means the wire in the CC box, around the pulley. it should push one way (left right) and then it should come out with some working.

removed CC from mine because it stopped working, and i barely used it to begin with. bay looks alot cleaner without it anyway, especially a G2. the CC box was bulky looking and just took up space.

i was contemplating removing PS and AC on my build, but i'm thinking I'll keep it. i MIGHT get rid of PS, but AC is more than likely staying. even if it does become just a weekend car, i still don't want to be sweating my ass of on that weekend.

as far as removing the cc in my da9 i just un bolted and unplugged all the wiring and the cruise cable that goes from the accelerator pedal to the cc module under the hood,if you go to the parts store or any junkyard to scout around, you may be able to find a plug to put in place of the hole in the firewall, and while i was at it i went ahead and got a new throttle cable from the local honda dealer, only cost me like 25 bucks, easy to do, just unplugging the wires, a ten mm socket and a pair of needle nose pliers for the accelerator pedal under the dash, by the way, i used a cable for a da9 RS without cc, even though mine is a LS with cc
