How to fix shift boot that fell

The bottom of the shift boot is on a metal frame, and probably bent. Take the center console off, turn over. There is 2 screws, and two metal tabs. The metal tabs go in a plastic slot under the console. If the plastic is broke, just glue the fuck out of it.

Feel under the console, where the red lines are. Is the plastic broke? If not, try to bend the boot frame, sliding the frame tabs in. If you get them in there, just bend the frame back up. Don't pull on the boot material. Just the metal frame.

i think u have to take it apart to fix it, thats what i did but i got the itr boot, i figured i might as well get 1 while its all out
