cuting or heating springs is a getto way of doing stuff and will make you sound like a "hood rich wanabe"... If your going to do anything atleast do it someway correct and get some ebay junk. Alot of the things we are trying to tell you is its really unsafe to cut/heat the springs in order to make your car look lowered... All your going to do is make your car look like crap and pretty much make you as a person un beleavable

No its from using your brain and earning money to buy expensive full body coilovers that will actually HELP your car handle.

Don't heat your springs, buy real parts.
Gotta pay to play with the big boys.

THIS IS MY RIG ON ADJUSTABLE COILS I GOT AT TUNER.COM I THINK ITS CALLED, BUT GETS JOB DONE HANDLES SMOOTH AND JST LOW ENOUGH BUT DOESNT SCRAPE.

no. i just roll slammed on actual suspension. i was just proving that sparks fly with my ride height.

it would have been worse if i were on cut/heated springs. my exhaust would have been torn off a long time ago.

and yeah kenn. that did prolly happen that night when we rolled out with Dan :rolf:

heating the springs is a bad idea. when you bring the coils closer together, they will be more susceptible to bottoming out. and incase u didnt know, the material is actually brittle and will break when the coils slam together.

Don't heat/cut springs, you'll just fuck yourself over in the long run. Pay to play man, pay to play. :) If you can't.. then save up for the next best thing, such as instead of coilovers, go for a good shock/spring combo.

Lol coy my Apexi looks like that too. The guy I got it from hit a speed bump haha
