Personally a 2.5' drop is too low for me. I mean at 2.5 feet below stock ride height, you'd be about 4 feet from being 6 feet under. *das scurry*

LOL, j/k. I'm assuming you meant 2.5" I know H&R makes 2.25" drop. A great kit and w/ Illumina's handles awesome on a '97 Hatch. Find out who makes the 2.5 inch kit. Make sure they're one of the quality brands if you say you want to do some road racing with 'cause the higher price tag isn't there for no reason. IMO, I wouldn't go as low as 2.5" for a Honda that's also gonna be driven day to day. Looks nice, but the roads sometimes aren't so you might want to consider adjustable coilovers from--of course--a quality manufacturer.

i think 2.5" is a bit low...at that height you will encounter alot of problems later on, you will start feeling your car will bounce much more than usual, even if you replace your oem shocks with aftermarket shocks, your after shocks can only take so much, at extreme low height, it will not work as good as it surpose to.. all your under body will be scratch, everything to headers, exhuast piping, oil pan, etc... will be scratched and in the worst case it can be damaged beyond repair such as cracks and so forth. i think 1.75- 2" will be good. but if you want it real low, its up to you, you can do it no doubt about that. there are springs and adjustable coilover kits that will allow such a low drop. but i just wanna aware you of some of the problems you might encounter at that height

Go low or go home...bwhahaha...

I'm all about practicality...so 1.75 is my max.

Stock height with some badass suspension such as the Mugen low down. Beautiful suspension my buddy's R has it and I fell in love with it.

1.75 on tokico shocks and springs with megan racing strut bars and h brace made my teg handle great. i can still go over speed bumps which is cool, pull up next to another honda and im lower which is also cool. and handleing is great. 2.5" for me is way too low.

you can go as low as you want.... the lower you go, the more problems you will run into though
