How Hard is too Hard?

Pulling into a parking lot, I hit the lip between the road and the entrance hard. misjudged the gap, and was going maybe 15-20 MPH when I hit it. When I did, I felt my front right shock slam hard against the stoping point, sending a jolt through the whole car. I feel pretty silly for this since I usually baby my car as I don't like spending money on avoidable repairs. I have a stock suspension, and it's a 2000 GS. Think I'm okay, or could I have messed up a strut or something? If so, how would i be able to know? Car seems to drive fine, though haven't gotten it above 40MPH since it happened. Did a brake test to check alignment and that seems fine as well. Thanks for the help!

You'd know if you blew a strut, you're probably fine. Get up in there and check to see if any bushings are dead, mine did this once...

Yeah, you would have felt a difference if you blew it. You should be fine.

You should be fine. I smacked the ground with the front of my car trying to make a yellow light at about 60. Didn't do any damage.

it happens more if you are lowered, i slap the top every once in a while with my coilovers. Coy uses the that as his bump stop lol. But your OEM shocks have jounce bumpers (the little foam piece) at the top of the strut just in case that happens.
