This is incorrect information. LED's (Light Emitting Diodes) are directional. Current flows through the positive terminals and out the negative toward ground, if and only if current is sufficient (usually around 2.5 V minimum). It is possible to force current through the wrong direction, but this WILL eventually damage the LED, decreasing its lifespan.also they are LED so there should be no positive and negative as they should come on either way, just incase you are wondering why you got 2 of the same color on a pigtail comming outta the new headlight.

I am wondering why I received headlights with two red wires, but it is NOT because it doesn't matter.
