If you have your factory manual that will tell you how to remove the headlights. Then instead of reversing the steps with stock headlights, do it with the halo units

Is it just direct plug in for halo lights? or do i gotta splice wires and stuff?

for mine (which dont work now one halo on either side is out. fuckin ebay shit!!! but it came with 4 wires 1 power and 1 ground for each halo. then i wired it to my daylights so when the daylights were on the halo's came on. remove front bumper loosen 4 bolts on each headlight unplug plug and plays and switch them its pretty easy. if your not sure wher all the bolts are pull, find out where its being held, pull again find out again....so on so forth.

There's about 8 +/- screws holding it on.

there are i think like 8 under the hood, then there are 1 in each wheel well. when doing the wheel well ones its best to take both front tires off or turn the steering wheel towards the front of the car for easier access on the screws. its not tah hard at all.

This is the way that i did mine on my 90 teg gs, there are 2 main oem plugs on the car and the 2 for the side marker lights per headlight, on my dash there is a button that turns on somewhat of a fog light/running light, I stripped the connector off that set of wires there was only a black and a red and attached the angel eye and Halo ring to it so when I'm driving with the lowbeams on the halos come on with the angel eye at the push of a button. There is no point to using them in the day and lets face it if you burn them out they are just gay space lights. Then when the highbeams come on they turn off untill u turn the highbeams off again. Its a good setup for what I use them for, maybe you guys in the newer tegs have the same style of stock switch in your dash.

also they are LED so there should be no positive and negative as they should come on either way, just incase you are wondering why you got 2 of the same color on a pigtail comming outta the new headlight.

This is incorrect information. LED's (Light Emitting Diodes) are directional. Current flows through the positive terminals and out the negative toward ground, if and only if current is sufficient (usually around 2.5 V minimum). It is possible to force current through the wrong direction, but this WILL eventually damage the LED, decreasing its lifespan.

I am wondering why I received headlights with two red wires, but it is NOT because it doesn't matter.

There are two wires from each lamp, so high has one set of wires, low has another; obviously for the two separate rings.
